Jared Paull Electrical Engineering PhD Student

About Me

I am an electrical engineering graduate student at the University of British Columbia Okanagan (UBCO). I work in the power electronics laboratory on campus. Besides research, I enjoy to teach as much as I can.

I enjoy being involved both on campus and in the community, I am awlways looking for ways to be involved. I have a particular interest in opportunities relating to educating others, no matter the topic.

I completed my Bachelors of Applied Science from the University of British Columbia Okanangan (UBCO) with a major in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science. I graduated top of my class with the highest GPA. I am currently persuing my PhD from UBCO.

Research Interests

My research focuses on offline and real-time electromagnetic transients simulation of power electronic converters, specifically on the numerical integration techniques.

Beyond this, I am interested efficient converter topologies, solid state transformers, and modular multilevel converters.
