About Me

I am an electrical engineering PhD candidate at the University of British Columbia (UBC) Okanagan, where I work in the power electronics laboratory. My research is on offline and real-time electromagnetic transient simulation of power electronic converters, with a focus on the numerical integration techniques behind it; see Research and Publications for details and a list of my papers.

Besides research, I teach as much as I can. I was the instructor for ENGR 454 (Motor Drive Systems) in 2026, and have been a teaching assistant for ENGR 320 (Electromechanical Systems) and ENGR 458/558 (Power Electronics); the student evaluations are on the Teaching Evaluations page.

I enjoy being involved both on campus and in the community, and I am always looking for ways to be involved. I have a particular interest in opportunities relating to educating others, no matter the topic.

I completed my Bachelor of Applied Science at UBC Okanagan with a major in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science, graduating top of my class with the highest GPA.
